The St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre is a cutting-edge facility that meets the demands of swimmers of all ages and skill levels. It has a two pool layout, with one pool for recreational swimming and one for more competitive swimming. There are also diving boards, a water slide, and a wading pool for children.
Families can enjoy a day swimming and studying at the Aquatics Centre, which also has a branch of the St. Catharines Public Library with 7,000 square feet of space. The Aquatics Centre is a great place to spend time with family, friends, or even by yourself. You can swim laps in the pool, take a yoga class, or just relax in the sauna.
The aquatics center is an excellent location for physical activity and water enjoyment. In addition to swim lessons and aquatic fitness sessions, they also provide swim lessons for schools. Monday through Friday, beginning at 5:30 a.m., the Kiwanis Aquatics Center is open for classes and drop-in swims. Saturday at 7 am to 9:30 pm. from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Use their open swim hours to enjoy the water from 7:30 p.m. onwards. In addition to family swims and swims just for ladies, they also offer a variety of aquatic specials and events.
A rectangular pool with eight lanes and a length of 25 meters that is suitable for lane swimming, recreational swimming, and lessons for swimmers of all levels. The irregularly shaped leisure pool, which has spray features and water that is 90°F warm, is a great place to advance your swimming skills.
